 Scotchmans Hill
Scotchmans Hill is a family owned vineyard and winery based on the Bellarine Peninsula in Victoria, Australia
Established in 1982, Scotchmans Hill has become a producer of some of Australia's most complex, elegant and consistent wines. Scotchmans Hill is located on Mount Bellarine which was named by the Scottish immigrants who settled the Mount Bellarine area in the 1840s. Mount Bellarine was formed over 30 million years ago by tectonic movement which formed Port Phillip Bay and the surrounding volcanic region of Geelong and Mount Bellarine.

 Robin Brockett
Robin Brockett has spent over 35 years striving to perfect the art of winemaking, since 1988 as Chief Winemaker at Scotchmans Hill
Winemaking is an art and a large part of that art is understanding the beauty and complexity deeply rooted in the vines from which the wine originates from. Winemakers are working with a natural product and as such, face a new challenge each and every vintage. The process is just as exciting as it is demanding, especially when Robin Brockett assembles grapes from local growers. Each and every vintage is a new challenge. No two vineyards are the same and that is where winemaking is so much fun. There is nothing like taking the grapes and appreciating their particular nuances to bring out the artisan in a winemaker.

 Provenance
Provenance Wines was established in 1997 with the simple objective of making great wines that exhibit the fruit quality and terroir of special vineyards in and around the Geelong viticultural region
Owner winemaker Scott Ireland has been involved in the wine industry for over twenty five vintages. Experience gained from extensive travel and work in the wine industry throughout Australia, France and the US led to the desire to create his own brand of wines. Wines representative of their source (provenance), but shaped by his feel for the winemaking craft/ art. Scott is a passionate (surely Richo should get an honorary Brownlow) Tiger supporter who loves nothing more than relaxing on his old wooden boat, glass in hand. The wine industry provides both challenge and solace for him.

 Pettavel
David Pettavel pioneered the establishment of the Geelong wine region in 1842, the industry's early successes are a tribute to Pettavel's accurate assessment of the climatic and geological influences of the region
David Pettavel left Switzerland and emigrated to Australia in 1842 aboard the barque Platina. Upon landing at Port Philip, Pettavel continued directly to the hills of Geelong to plant the region's first vineyard. These vineyards, and the wine produced from them were such a success that Pettavel immediately began plans for further vineyard development throughout the rolling hills of Geelong. The shortage of skilled labour became a major constraint to Pettavel's expansion, so Pettavel returned to Switzerland, and sailed back to Australia aboard the ship the Evening Star in 1856 after convincing family and friends to follow him to Australia.

 Lethbridge
Quality, without compromise, is central to the Lethbridge philosophy. The aim is to produce European accented wines which focus on balance and texture, made to be enjoyed with food
Lethbridge Wines grew from a friendship between Adrian Thomas, Ray Nadeson and Maree Collis. All three were busy establishing careers in science and medicine and shared a love of great wine which grew to be an obsession. Soon the afternoons sipping burgundies were replaced by weekends searching for the perfect vineyard site and then by afternoons digging holes and planting vines. For two of the partners (Maree and Ray) the passion for wine drove them to a sea change, and in 2003 after 7 years of balancing careers in science and running a vineyard and winery, they made Lethbridge Wines their reison d'etre. Maree Collis and Ray Nadeson are not your average winemakers of a boutique winery. Both were initially trained as research scientists and hold PhD degrees in chemistry and medicine, respectively. While combining their scientific careers with winemaking, Maree and Ray completed the winemaking degree at Charles Sturt University.
 By Farr
None of the By Farr wines are mainstream, they are an expressions of the vineyard - earth and dirt are what Nick and Gary Farr like to drink - that's what they promise to deliver
Gary was the winemaker at Bannockburn Vineyards since its inception in 1978 and gained an enviable reputation for Bannockburn Wines and more recently, his own By Farr wines. His experience as a hands-on winemaker has been enhanced by 12 vintages at Domain Dujac in Burgundy, France, and vintages in the USA at Cristom, Oregon and Calera, California. He has made numerous sojourns to other areas such as the Rhone Valley in France, where his appreciation of Shiraz and Voignier has been incorporated in his current winemaking.
 Bannockburn
Stuart Hooper's uncompromising commitment to quality, regardless of cost, has placed Bannockburn at the forefront of re-establishing Geelong as an exceptional cool climate wine producing area
Bannockburn was established by Stuart Hooper in 1974. It was Hooper's passion to share the enjoyment of a bottle of red with friends and family, and his dream of producing wine from his own vineyard, that lead to the establishment of Bannockburn. His vision was to create a vineyard which would produce Australian wine of a quality to emulate the great wines of France, in particular the great Burgundies. Stuart had a purist, uncompromising approach to quality grape growing and winemaking. He had a strong belief in making wines which genuinely reflect the flavours of the vineyard. Although Stuart has since passed away, Bannockburn Vineyards remains in the Hooper family and his philosophy remains as the cornerstone behind all Bannockburn represents today.
 Austins
Richard and Pam Austin began their journey with wine 27 years ago with a five-acre vineyard, in Geelong, dedicated to making super premium wines for Australia’s best restaurants
The Austins planted their first vines in the Barrabool Hills, southwest of Geelong, in the early 1980s. The soil they turned was the same worked by the pioneering Swiss more than a century before. During it's nineteenth century heyday, the Geelong region was recognised as producing some of the finest red wines made in Australia's first one hundred years. This was at a time when the Victorian wine industry out-produced the sum of the South Australian and New South wales industries by a factor of two. The area suffered badly in the second half of the nineteenth century when phylloxera (a grapevine pest) and bureaucracy combined to destroy the region. The Moorabool Valley re-emerged in the first days of the Victorian wine industry's renaissance, in the 1960s. Recognition of that link has played a major part in the Austin family's affair with wine and the move to Sutherlands Creek.
