 Tolpuddle
Tolpuddle Vineyard was established in 1988, named for the Tolpuddle Martyrs: English convicts transported to Tasmania for forming an agricultural union
As the story goes, the leader of the Martyrs, George Loveless, served some of his sentence working on a property near Richmond, part of which is now Tolpuddle Vineyard. The vineyard is now planted with mature Chardonnay and Pinot Noir vines, facing northeast, sloping gently up from Back Tea Tree Road. The soil is light silica over sandstone and of moderate vigour, ensuring well-balanced vines producing grapes of great flavour and intensity. Martin Shaw and Michael Hill Smith MW acquired the property in 2011, fully committed to seeing Tolpuddle recognised as one of Australia's great single vineyards. In 2006 Tolpuddle Vineyard won the inaugural Tasmanian Vineyard of the Year award, reflecting the performance of this unique and distinguished site.

 Pressing Matters
Great friends and fellow wine loving barristers, Greg Melick and Francis Douglas, had been interested in acquiring a vineyard for many years
In 2002 Greg finally found the ideal site which consisted of approximately 14 hectares of grazing land on well-drained north east facing slopes, with cracking clay over a calciferous base. The site was also frost free. Robert Drew was contracted to establish the original vineyard for planting - which has now been planted with 2.9 hectares of Riesling and 3.8 hectares of Pinot Noir. In 2006 the demands of the expanding vineyard, and Robert Drew’s own very successful vineyard, necessitated the appointment of full-time viticulturist Paul Smart.
 Pooley
The Pooley family have been passionate about making fine wine for generations, their long standing commitment is your assurance of uncompromising quality
Pooley Wines were established 1985 when the late Denis and Margaret Pooley planted ten rows of Riesling and seven rows of Pinot Noir on their 16 hectare farm at Cooinda Vale in the Coal River Valley of southern Tasmania. Margaret Pooley remained the chief executive of Cooinda Vale Vineyard until well into her nineties. She was a hardy Scot and could be found tending vines during the coldest Tasmanian winters. The family’s love of wine was ignited many years ago after he and Margaret arrived in Tasmania from England, way back in 1954. Denis became a founding member of the Hobart Beefsteak and Burgundy Club, there were only six members and it was Hobart's most exclusive social club. Three generations of the Pooley family have since worked alongside each other in the estate vineyards, until matriarch Margaret's passing in 2010.
 Frogmore Creek
Frogmore Creek Wines is one of Tasmania's most awarded wineries. Proudly family owned, Frogmore Creek sources grapes from the finest cool climate regions in Tasmania
The Frogmore Creek vineyards were founded around the principles of sustainable farming practises. The site was chosen due to it's suitability to growing great Pinot Noir, Riesling and Chardonnay. The vineyard is located at Penna which is 30 minutes drive from the city of Hobart. Critical climate indicators such as rainfall, temperature, sunshine hours and number of rain days combine in perfect balance to create an ideal natural environment for growing premium quality grapes. The property is 316 acres with 81 acres suitable for vines. The remaining land accommodates grazing, animals, dams and a large portion (almost 80 acres) is set aside for conservation projects. The current varietals include Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Grigio.
 Dalrymple
Nestled within a cocoon of mixed vegetation and rolling hills, Dalrymple Estate enjoys a unique and seductive aspect shared by only a few boutique vineyards littering Tasmania’s Pipers River region
Dalrymple Estate is located in the Tamar Valley at Pipers River, about one hour from Launceston. This celebrated vineyard of just 12.3 hectares rises up an easterly facing slope from 100m to 160m above sea level. Discovered by Dr Bertel Sundstrup in 1987 after a long search for the perfect site, this small mature family owned vineyard produces some of Australia’s most distinctive cool climate wines.
 Coal Valley Vineyard
Coal Valley Vineyard are a progressive, hands on, family owned and operated winery vineyard, established 1999 near the estuary of Coal River in southeast Tasmania
The story of Coal Valley Vineyard began with a passion for wine. After years of travelling and working around the world in their professional careers of biology and chemical engineering, Todd Goebel and Gill Christian were ready to get their hands dirty and realize a long held dream. Tasmania was developing a reputation as Australia’s premier Pinot Noir, Riesling and Sparkling wine producing area and this vineyard was already winning gold medals at the local wine shows for Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Riesling. Fifteen years later, Todd and Gill are proud of what they produce and love what they do. They enjoy their work in the vineyard, making good wine and the sharing the finished product!
 Bay of Fires
Bay of Fires was born of a desire to make cool climate wines of classical structure, combining fruit intensity with refinement, complexity and persistence of flavour
The group winemaking team at Hardys identified, back in 1994, the regions they believed would make cool climate wines of classical structure, combining fruit intensity with refinement, complexity and persistence of flavour - the ultimate expression and grape and region. Tasmania's potential for the production of classic, cool climate grape varieties was clearly evident. Their vision has come to fruition with the success of Bay of Fires, Tigress and Arras.
