The flagship sparkling from the House of Seppelt, Salinger is made to authentic Methode traditionelle. One of Australia's premier sparklers, an elegant and refined effervescent wine, with the inclusion of aged reserves for added complexity. Importantly, Salinger is assembled from the very best Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meuniere available to Seppelt. Treated to the most meticulous vinification, followed by a lengthy spell of ageing under The Drives, Seppelt Great Western's famous underground cellars.

An assemblage of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier with excellent intensity of flavours grown to premium, fully mature cool climate, low yielding vineyards. Great emphasis is placed on the selection of fruit and the determination of base wines, each component must contribute finesse and elegance to the final Cuvee. In the manner of champagne, no one fruit or other character is dominant on either bouquet or palate. Components are included for the purpose of progressively building an impact through to the long finish. Treated to a secondary ferment in bottle and three years ageing in bottle on sedimentery yeast lees, Salinger is disgorged in the traditional Champagne way.
