Established 1794, Oban are one of the smallest Whisky Distilleries in Scotland, a two pot still operation, it endures as a first choice amongst discerning Malt enthusiasts. Oban Malt enjoyed a resurgence to fame in the 1980s, but the major part of the production is traditionally called upon by the popular Blended Whisky brands such as Dewar and Bell's. An assemblage of small batch Malts, aged in a selection of smaller casks for greater exposure to oak, infusing the creamy characters of vanilla, savouryness and smoke, for a richer, more engaging style of Malt Whisky.
