Katnook Shiraz displays exemplary varietal character, sound palate structure with a subtle richness, excellent colour and fine soft tannins. Fruit is picked at optimal ripeness, having developed excellent varietal definition, generous flavours and fine balance between natural sugars, acidity and tannins. The subtle oak lets the fruit speak for itself, It's delicious notes of spice and pepper give away its cool Coonawarra origins whilst adding to the complexity. Matured fifteen months in a selection of seasoned French and American 225 litre oak barriques and 300 litre hogsheads. Alcohol 13.5%
