Vines aged twenty five to thirty five years are grown to rich and fertile siliceous or clayey siliceous soils over the splendid underlying limestones which make the Champagne region so unique. H. Blin is rested in bottle on yeast lees for twenty months before disgorgement and addition of ten grams/litre liqueur doseage, a minimum of three months prior to release.
