An exclusively Shiraz wine, treated to a luxurious extended maturation under a selection of the finest French oak. Yields at the superlative little blocks of vine, are often a minuscule single tonne to the acre, ensuring very tiny amounts of RunRig are ever made. Each of eight parcels are gently de stemmed into a selection of traditional wooden and concrete, open top fermenters, for a week of warm temperature vinification on skins. After passing through an old fashioned basket press, batches are run directly into a selection of seasoned and new French oak barriques for thirty months maturation and a course of racking. A component of Viognier is included in the final assemblage. Alcohol 15.0%
