This single vineyard Shiraz is harvested from Adrian Strachan's dry grown block in the McLaren Vale. The vineyard enjoys a great coastal outlook which is conducive to growing organic grapes with perfect drainage and sea breezes. The exceptional climes here work in tandem with the soil profile, placing the vines in excellent health with strong canopies and a balanced fruit set. Vinified with organic winemaking techniques, Yalumba was fermented to indigenous yeast cultures and minimal intervention from the winemaker. Luxuriously matured ten months in completely new American oak barrels which were coopered at the Yalumba wineworks. Alcohol 14.5%
