More About Tallarook Wines
Tallarook is situated on an elevated yet protected site, among rugged hills on the northern slopes of Central Victoria's Great Dividing Range
The original Tallarook Vineyards form part of a property named Dabyminga. Established first in the 1980s and purchased in 1992 by the Riebl family, these vineyards and the wines produced under the Tallarook label represent a pioneering effort for the Tallarook district. The land was once part of the territories of the Goulburn Aboriginal tribes. Before white settlement, it was one of the most densely populated areas in Australia. Dabyminga derives from "Ab'minga" (snaketracks) in the language of the Natramboolok tribe. In the same language, Tallarook means "call of the wattlebird".
More About Taltarni Wines
Taltarni is one of the earliest vineyard sites in the Pyrenees, originally planted to the classic varietals, immediately establishing a reputation for impressive robust reds and premium quality sparkling wines
The rebirth of Taltarni Vineyards in 1972 was something of a renaissance for the Pyrenees, a winegrowing region that had slipped into a nadir after a vticultural history which dates back to the mid nineteenth century. Today, the Taltarni Estate's fundamental philosophy is to produce distinctive, well-balanced premium varietal wines with recognizable regionality and estate styling.
More on the Tamar Ridge Winery
Great wines are made in the vineyard and it is the exceptional fruit grown at the Kayena Vineyard that forms the cornerstone of the Tamar Ridge and Devil’s Corner range of wines
Located on the western banks of the Tamar River, 40 kilometres north of Launceston, the Kayena Vineyard is planted to a range of cool climate varieties including Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, Riesling, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Employing state-of-the-art winemaking techniques, but with more than a few concessions to the traditional techniques that have served winemakers for centuries, our winemaking goal is to harness the pristine fruit characters the Kayena Vineyard produces, fashioning them into individual wine styles that speak of their cool origins.
More About Tapanappa Wines
Even as the ink was drying on the Petaluma purchase in 2001, Brian Croser's friends at Champagne Bollinger were forming a pact with the Croser family to begin again
Then along came the Cazes family from Chateau Lynch Bages in Pauillac. On a trip to Australia in 2002, Jean-Michel and his son Jean-Charles met with Croser and joined the partnership. The driving ambition was to own and make wine from the more than 30-year old Koppamurra Vineyard just north of Coonawarra. Tapanappa was born and Koppamurra Vineyard was acquired in late 2002. The property has since been renamed Whalebone Vineyard. The partnership was founded in a strong, mutually held belief that some pieces of ground are much better than others for the production of fine wine. Of course this superiority is highly specific to varieties and wine style. The Whalebone Vineyard and Cabernet Sauvignon in particular have a unique synergy. Croser learned of the wonderful quality of Cabernet from the Whalebone Vineyard 25 years ago when in 1980, he assisted Geoff Weaver to make his very first wine from this vineyard under the Ashbourne label.

About the Tar Roses Winery
Don Lewis joined Colin Preece for Mitchelton's first vintage in 1973, and assumed the winemaker's mantle in 1974 when Preece retired
After thirty years of leadership at Mitchelton and auspicious winemaking in the Spanish region of Priorat, 150 kilometres south-west of Barcelona, Don Lewis made the decision to pursue the Tar & Roses label, a collaboration with protegee Narelle King. Lewis adores the tannins, structure and distinct expressiveness of Spanish wines. Grapes are from vines grown to elite Heathcote vineyards, much of which must be hand picked, all components are treated separately during their fermentation and maturation. The larger volume of shiraz comes from richer Cambrian soils, while the smaller parcel is grown to much tougher grantic soils.

About Tassell Park Wines
Back in 1996 when Ian Tassell was planning a retirement hobby and Patricia a country retreat, little did they realise it was going to be the start of Tassell Park Wines
Prior to his retirement from the corporate world in December 2000, Ian was Managing Director of Marketforce, Perth's largest advertising and marketing agency. His retirement signalled an end to a career in sales and marketing spanning some 35 years. Patricia, prior to the arrival of their son Matthew in 1997 worked in radio sales at 94.5FM and had also worked in the advertising and media industry for almost 20 years. Enjoying a passion for good wine they had made many visits to the Margaret River wine region over the years and their love of the area grew as they travelled from Perth numerous times during their wedding preparations in 1996 when they were married at the historical St. Mary's Anglican Church in Cowaramup. This is when the idea of buying a property "down south" became more than just a passing thought.

The vines of Tatachilla bask in sunlight, and are gently cooled by late afternoon sea breezes off the Gulf of St Vincent, and the gully winds rolling down the lower ranges.

About the Taylors Winery
Situated at the very heart of South Australia’s beautiful Clare Valley, Taylors has become one of Australia’s best loved and most trusted wineries
The tale of Taylors winemaking goes back a few years – three generations in fact, and all began with Bill Taylor Senior, and his love of a certain Bordeaux wine. Originally wine merchants in Sydney, a passion for wine was all part of being a Taylor, and in particular, for the famous French Clarets such as Chateau Mouton Rothschild in Bordeaux’s Medoc region. It was this long held fascination for these wines which inspired the family’s foray into winemaking, and provides the inspiration and winemaking philosophy behind all Taylors winemaking today – to produce premium wines of exceptional and comparable quality in Australia.
More About Te Kairanga Winery
You can’t get more Martinborough than Te Kairanga
The wine region of Martinborough is located at the foot of New Zealand's North Island at a latitude of 40 degrees south. Here, a happy coincidence of geology and geography has created the perfect climate and terrain for Pinot Noir and aromatic wines. The stone-filled river terraces are free-draining while the topsoils vary from slope to slope. The mountains protect the vines from harsh elements, the days are long and dry, while the nights are cool. The vines grow less vigorously in the cool, breezy conditions, so yields are lower and the flavours more intense.

About Terra Felix Wines
Terra Felix was originally launched as the second label to the highly respected Tallarook Wines and grew to become a premium winemaking estate
Using excess grapes from Tallarook and surrounding vineyards, Terra Felix immediately caught the attention of wine reviewers. The initial vintages concentrated on commercial varieties such as Shiraz, Merlot Cabernet and Chardonnay. The problem facing the fledging brand was that there were plenty of these wines available on the market and distribution was a challenge. It was decided that Terra Felix should reposition its offering and concentrate largely on using Northern Rhone grape varieties. And why not? The growing conditions, soil and climate around Tallarook bear an uncanny resemblance to Northern Rhone.

About Teusner Winery
Teusner Wines is an artisanal, youthful expression of revered old Barossa vines, brought into focus by the efforts of devoted growers and the skills of the winemaker
Teusner Wines came into being late in 2001 when Kym Teusner witnessed a conversation between his girlfriend’s uncle and his brother. They were discussing the viability of an old Grenache vineyard, planted in the Northern Barossa Valley by their grandfather. The low yields and low prices being paid by the ‘Big Boys’ meant that the vineyard was running at a loss and was facing certain destruction! Kym was loath to hear this and approached his brother in law, now business partner, to see if they could scratch together enough cash to keep these gnarled old vines in the ground.
More About The Crossings Winery
In the renowned Marlborough wine region of New Zealand, between the waters of Cloudy Bay and the jagged Kaikoura Mountains, lies the ancient glacial Awatere Valley
In the nineteenth century, early pioneers stopped in this valley at a place where their horses could wade across the Awatere River. They called this point The Crossings. Today, this spot falls within The Crossings wine estate, which is made up of three vineyards in strategic locations within the valley. While this land was once used by the settlers for grazing, recent years have increasingly seen it converted to vines, as this southern sub-region of Marlborough proves itself to be a prime vineyard location.

Best known as an inspirational leader of the contemporary Grenache movement, Thistledown make small batch wines from the fruit of wonderful South Australian vineyards
It's no secret that Thistledown are obsessed with Grenache, particularly the old vine, dry grown stuff of Barossa and McLaren Vale. Maybe it's the result of years travelling around the vineyards of Spain. Grenache, in all its guises, flows through the veins of Thistledown's devoted team. They have begun assembling a collection of some of the best Grenache vineyards, with the intention of becoming the authority on Australian Grenache. Thistledown's approach to winemaking is simple. They work with remarkable sites, so the job is simply to capture and coax the extraordinary richness of that fruit into bottle, retaining as much of the personality and vitality as possible. Low yielding sites, hand picked a little earlier into the vintage, yielding vines of outstanding power and singular excellence.

In the cooler ranges above the Barossa, known as Eden Valley, English settlers created large pastoral runs for sheep and cattle, but also planted vineyards to ensure a supply of table wine.
