Penderyn is the only distillery in Wales and one of the smallest in the world. One of the few remaining independents, Penderyn takes its name from an old Welsh village, nestled at the foothills of the ancient Brecon Beacons mountain range, an area of outstanding natural beauty famed for its breathtaking scenery, open moorland, clear rivers and tumultuous waterfalls. This Single Malt defines the Penderyn house style, being distilled in a unique copper pot still, matured in Bourbon barrels, finished in rich Madeira wine casks and bottled at premium strength.
All exceptional whiskies bring together the crucial ingredients, a still, the wood and the water. If you take the time to create nothing but the best, you will discover why, like Welsh gold, Penderyn Single Malt Whisky is so rare that it has to be on strict allocation to markets outside of Wales. It is one of the rarest, finest and most delicate malt whiskies available. Beginning with the cooper's journey into sustainable American white oak forests, hand selecting trees from which barrels are fashioned, through to the finishing line at the distillery where dedicated staff hand polish every bottle as it comes off the line, commitment to quality at Penderyn is uncompromising

As the initial sensations fade, the finishing notes of tropical fruits, raisins and vanilla emerge boldly, long and lingering
