An assemblage of Scottish Malts and Canadian grain, brewed by Chugoku Jozo and patiently aged in bonded oak cask under the cool quietude of an abandoned railway tunnel at Akiota just outside Hiroshima. A medley of corn and barley malt characters after eight years of age, leading with its grainy butterscotch nose, corn bread flavours and caramelled fruits, nutmeg and pepper before a lingering sweet and citrusy, delicately spiced finish.
