The Malt Master presides over the all important maturation of Balvenie for fourteen years in a selection of oak Whisky barrels, finishing the course in a consignment of well seasoned Caribbean casks which have previously held stocks of ageing Rum.
TASTING NOTES
Golden amber hue. Rich, sweet and creamy toffee nose, fresh fruit notes. Rounded palate, vanilla and sweet oak characters, a fruity character that develops with time. An exceptional Single Malt Whisky, exhibiting the traditional smooth, honeyed character of Balvenie, married with notes of toffee and a hint of fruit, before a soft and warm, lingering finish.
