The 18 Year Old Glenmorangie is a superior Single Highland Malt. Its unique and delicate taste makes it one of the most palatable Malt Whiskies, appealing to both novices and connoisseurs alike. When enjoyed with water, deep oak notes are released revealing a balsamic nature, softened by hints of vanilla. The characteristic Glenmorangie fruity complex emerges as expressions of rich apricot and dates, complexed by hazelnut. The finish is long and enticing with the flavours of dried fruit, an Oloroso nuttyness and subtle walnut dryness.
Deep gold. Rich, rounded and sweet bouquet of dried fruits and complex florals, primary aromas of nutty, caramel crème brulee, vanilla followed by hints of walnut, honeycomb and dates. Complex florals emerge, identifiably geranium, jasmine and narcissus. The mouthfeel is silky. The palate is beautifully balanced between the flavours of honey, malt and more florals, followed by the nut-like characters of Oloroso sherry, hazelnuts and fig.
