Since 1877 when Samuel McWilliam planted his first vines at Corowa, successive generations of the McWilliam family have been pioneering the art of fine winemaking. Always innovative, McWilliam's is at the forefront of Australian viticulture. Inheritance is fashioned to be fruit driven and approachable. Grapes are harvested and vinified over four days in static red fermenters and pressed off before completing fermentation and malolactic in tank. Some components remain as clarified red juices with minimal skin contact to soften any wanton tannin influence. These unfermented parcels are assembled into the finished wine, delivering a softer, easier to enjoy palate with a moderate level of alcohol. Approx 9.0%
