About Kellermeister Wines
Kellermeister is a small family owned winery situated on the Barossa Valley Highway at Lyndoch, established in 1979 by Ralph and Val Jones
Ralph was National Marketing manager at Orlando wines for fifteen years prior to founding his own estate. Kellermeister have been handcrafting wines at their boutique winery for a long time now. It all began in the late 1970s as Ralph and Val Jones sat with gum boots on, ankle deep in water, labouring tirelessly into the night together. Over many cold winter’s nights, in a small tin shed perched above the valley floor, they laboured - kept warm only by the glow of the love they shared and the fire that was their dream for Kellermeister. Their aim was to produce wines of unique character - wines true to the German traditions of the Barossa Valley which was so richly influenced by the Silesian settlements of the 1840s. And so it was, through much love, sacrifice and hard work that Ralph and Val Jones brought their dream to life.
More About Kay Brothers Wines
Bordering St. Vincents Gulf, 40 kms south of Adelaide, Amery Vineyards grace the rolling foothills of the Southern Mt. Lofty Ranges
In the early 1850's Richard Baker Aldersey bought several sections of land 6 kms north of McLaren Vale in a hilly area near Hope Farm (Seaview). He built a fine ironstone house and named the property Amery, after his birthplace Amery Farm near Alton, in Hampshire, England. The land was partly cleared until Amery was acquired by William Hammond junior, whose father owned the adjacent Hambledon Farm where he settled after quitting his sugar plantation in Jamaica. In 1886 young William Hammond planted out the original seven acres of vineyard at Amery, but for the main part he ran the 339 acre property as a farm, raising cattle and sheep, cereal crops, soft fruits and vegetables. In 1890 the Amery property was bought by the Kay Brothers, Herbert and Frederick, and they finally came into possession on February 2nd 1891.

About Kangarilla Road Wines
Established by Helen and Kevin O'Brien in 1997, Kangarilla Road Vineyard and Winery is based in McLaren Vale South Australia
McLaren Vale is less than an hours drive from the city of Adelaide. The region is defined by some lovely beaches on the western boundary and by low lying hills to the east. McLaren Vale is the best region in Australia to achieve the wine styles that Kangarilla Road does well. The long, dry growing season can often become indian summers, translating into Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay fruit of aromas and flavours and balanced nicely in the reds with soft approachable tannins. In addition, the Kangarilla Road winemaking team are playing around with some new varieties to the district, namely Zinfandel and Viognier and we are very excited about the quality of these wines to date.

About the Juniper Estate Winery
Juniper Estate is a producer of premium wines in Wilyabrup, the heart of the Margaret River winegrowing area
Juniper is one of the oldest vineyards in the Wilyabrup area. No subregion has been historically more important in the success of Margaret River than Wilyabrup, where the first vineyards were planted and wineries built and which continues to be home to a disproportionately large number of famous, usually small, vineyards. Juniper Estate was planted by Henry and Maureen Wright in 1973 on Harmans Road South, in its picturesque setting along the Wilyabrup Creek. The vineyard grows on the gravelly loam soils, which have produced so many of the Margaret River wines which now command Australia-wide and international recognition. The land has a rich history. In the 19th century the road from Busselton to the south ran through what is now the vineyard and forded the Wilyabrup Creek (hence the “Crossing” range of wines). It was then part of the group settlement scheme in the years between the World Wars.

More About Jim Barry Wines
The Jim Barry vineyards were established in the cool uplands of the North Mount Lofty ranges in 1959
In his 57 years of winemaking, the late Jim Barry saw many changes. Jim Barry graduated from Roseworthy Agricultural College in 1947 and was offered a position at the Clarevale Cooperative, becoming the first qualified winemaker to work in the Clare Valley. In 1959 Jim and his wife Nancy purchased their first property on the northern outskirts of Clare and in 1964 purchased 70 acres of land from Duncan McRae Wood, part of which now forms the famous Armagh vineyard. With a growing family to look after, Jim took on the challenge of establishing his own winery and cellar door, with the first home-made wines being produced in 1974. "When I first came to the Clare Valley, grapes were delivered by horse and cart. Today our business is international but one thing won't change, at the end of the day, the wines are what matters!"

More About Jacobs Creek Winery
The history of Jacob's Creek begins with the earliest settlement of South Australia
Colonel William Light, who surveyed the city of Adelaide in 1836, made his way northeast to the Barossa Valley, which he named after an English victory in the south of Spain during the recent Napoleonic Wars. Later, when William Jacob surveyed the Barossa in 1839, he and his brother John took up land in the Hundred of Moorooroo; a word derived from the aboriginal meeting of two waters The two waters involved were the North Para River and a creek, which fed into it. The creek was later named Jacob’s Creek after William Jacob. Today, the Jacob brothers small cottages still stand, overlooking Jacob's Creek.

About the Hugo Winery
Hugo Wines is very much McLaren Vale, continuing the tradition of quality boutique winemaking from one of the nation's finest estate vineyards
The story of Hugo Wines is intrinsically linked to the property on which the vineyard is established. John Hugo's maternal great grandfather, George Sauerbier acquired the property and first farmed the land in the early 1900s, originally a Southdown sheep stud, grazing cattle and dairy, almonds, glasshouse tomatoes and mixed cropping, not to mention paddocks of grapevine meant for personal consumption. At that time, anything planted had to perform and provide a return, whatever the soil and climatic conditions.

More About Hentley Farm Winery
Hentley Farm is a truly special property, hand picked by Keith Hentschke for its soil quality and geographical contours
The wines of Hentley Farm are all about listening to the land and planting the right vines in the right place, in the right way. Set on the red brown earth of western Barossa, propitiously positioned on the sacred soils between Gawler and Nuriootpa, Greenock and Tanunda, Hentley Farm founders Keith and Alison Hentschke acquired the 150 acre vineyard and mixed farming property in the 1990s. Following extensive research to find out where the best red wine grapes in the Barossa Valley were being produced, their studies led them towards the rich red soils of the Seppeltsfield area. Keith used an old soil map from the 1950s to strategically locate the best parcels of land and after a number of years acquired Hentley Farm.

About Henschke Wines
Henschke is one of the longest established family names in the Barossa
Johann Christian Henschke purchased land for a farm at Keyneton in 1861, after fleeing religious persecution in Silesia. He planted a small vineyard and an orchard, and after initially making wine for family consumption produced his first commercial vintage in 1868, believed to be principally riesling and shiraz. Each subsequent generation built upon the reputation for quality, but it was fourth-generation Cyril Alfred Henschke who in 1958 created the wine that has most captured the red wine world's imagination - Hill of Grace.
