Just below the Alpine Dolomites of Veneto, the family growers of Treviso have been Prosecco making for generations. The breathtaking vistas at Valdobbiadene are at the very heart of Prosecco DOCG, the most auspicious parcels of vine are planted to an elite slope, designated Superiore di Cartizze.

There are a mere hundred hectares of Glera vineyards, stretching out between the undulating landscapes San Pietro di Barbozza, Santo Stefano and Saccolworthy, worthy of the moniker Superiore di Cartizze. The soils here are mineral rich and marine, they vary considerably from sandstone to alluvial clays, all share a providence for yielding the world's most toothsome sparkling wine. Grapes are encouraged to ripen fully, harvested late in the season and vinified to the local Conegliano Valdobbiadene method.
