Arras Grand Vintage is a wine of outstanding peerage, fashioned from the fruit of superior sites, enriched by the great complexity of character that follows six years tirage. A tapestry of flavours and aromatics suspended within an elegant mousse, Arras is artisanaly crafted from the noble Chardonnay and Pinot Noir to true Methode traditionelle. After several years resting on lees and an extended bottle maturation, this peerless wine from Tasmania's finest vineyards, carries the distinction of a world class, effervescent Cuvée.

The Arras team retain access to an endowment of the finest sparkling wine vineyards in all Australia. Choice parcels of fruit, hand picked off the best blocks within the finest sites, are gently whole bunch pressed, retaining only the first free run juices, to retain freshness and elegance of structure. After a term of cold settling, the individual batches are vinified on light grape solids, followed by a course of malolactic on primary ferment lees. Once clarified, the wines are judiciously assembled to style and prepared for tirage. Six years maturation on yeast lees has built additional complexity and depth. Degorgement and introduction of expedition liqueur completes the Methode traditionelle.
