The Grigio wines of Veneto are enjoyed everyday around the globe, as the most popular choice for enthusiasts of satisfying, food friendly white wines. Refreshing and refined, brimming with layers of deliciously balanced fruit characters, Pasqua are crafted from the Pinot Grigio of excellent vineyards which have been contributing the pick of their harvest to Pasqua for generations. Juicy to the palate and engagingly perfumed, bring Pasqua Pinot delle Venezie along with you for a luncheon of crisp skinned chicken or crackling pork. Harvests are collated from fine vineyards across the premiere viticultural precincts of Veneto. Grapes are crushed and treated to a term of cold settling for clarification, followed by inoculation to choice yeasts and controlled ferments at 16C to 18C. Upon completion, batches are assembled into the finished wine and bottled for a term of age before release. Straw yellow hues. Floral bouquets, acacia blossom, mineral notes, slateyness and meal, persimmons and pear. An intense, exquisitely balanced palate, filled with the fruits of the orchard, apples, nashi and pear. Wonderfuly textural and pleasingly dry, its parched citrus intensity makes a wonderful match with white meats, egg recipes or terrines. |
