Yellow Tail have been at the forefront of planting and developing dedicated vineyards under the sunny climes of Riverina, chosen sites which are trained to grow the voluptuous Italian varietals. A refreshing and flavourful, satisfying white wine with restorative expressions of orchard fruits with almond, pinenuts and limoncello, [yellow tail] Pinot Grigio is lacking nothing except maybe sunshine and good times. Serve chilled at every opportunity, it makes perfect company to your favourite Al fresco cuisine on a warm summer's evening.
Filippo and Maria Casella emigrated to Australia bringing with them their know how of Italian varietal wines acquired after several generations of grape growing and winemaking in Italy. Fashioned from the best batches of Pinot Grigio grapes available to [yellow tail], the fruit is gently whole bunch pressed to retain maximum freshness and flavour. Free run juices are then cold fermented after inoculation by select aromatic yeasts. Once completed, the wine is cold stabilised and cold filtered to retain rich aromas and freshness. Yellow Tail is estate grown, vinified and bottled, ensuring that the final wine is handled to the most exacting standards from the vine to the glass.
TASTING NOTES
Pale straw colour. Lifted aromas of citrus fruits with delicate notes of green apples and pears. Delightfully fresh, zesty and elegant with lots of super ripe concentrated fruit. The palate displays flavours of pineapple with subtle floral characters and fresh acidity. [yellow tail] is fashioned to be a great wine that everyone can enjoy, anytime, any place.

About Yellow Tail Winery
The Casella family has been making wine in the Riverina since 1965
Filippo and Maria Casella emigrated to Australia bringing with them their know-how acquired through three generations of grape-growing and winemaking in Italy. Recognising the potential of the region, Filippo purchased a farm in the town of Yenda, New South Wales. After selling the grapes from his farm to local wineries, he decided in 1969 that it was time for a new generation to put its winemaking skills to use, and the winery was born. Yellow Tail»
