The underlying strength and success of McWilliam's for more than six generations has been the knowledge that wine is made in the country, cultivated and crafted by people with skill and tradition who live and love the vine. Inheritance is vinfied in a combination of static and rotary fermenters for up to seven days on skins. Merlot components are treated to static fermenters only, enhancing the soft structure. Components of Cabernet are rotary fermented to extract more tannin and give structure to the wine. Following pressing, Inheritance is matured for several months before the final assemblage, a component is treated to a term of age under French and American oak for added complexity. Alcohol 13.5%
