Banrock Station takes care to select healthy grapes of high quality, with concentrated flavours and good acid. Fruit and wine throughout all stages of winemaking are handled gently and with meticulous care to avoid exposure to elements that may cause spoilage. Some malolactic fermentation in oak adds tannins for natural preservation. At no stage in the winemaking process is the preservative SO2 used. Once complete, the wine is immediately cold stabilised prior to filtration and bottling. Approx 13.0%
