Yellow Label delivers the right balance of Chardonnay orchard fruit flavours as supported by delicately integrated oak. Drink in its youth to enjoy the bright fresh flavours.
The essence of Wolf Blass can be characterized by the passion of its growers, its dedicated winemaking team and ultimately, the brand's enthusiasts, all of whom contribute to defining the enduring Wolf Blass style. Chardonnay grown to maturing Wolf Blass vineyards is harvested throughout the early hours of morning to preserve fresh fruit flavours and retain natural acid levels. Careful canopy management including light summer pruning ensure fruit receives even exposed to sunlight. Grapes are pressed and the musts are pumped to separate juices from skins. Choice parcels are treated to a term of oak maturation, striking the ideal balance between fresh fruit character and subtle oak influence. Alcohol 13.0%
TASTING NOTES
Pale straw with lime hues at the rim. A lovely, elegant wine with a bright, fresh nose, nectarines over nutty, creamy oak, an underlaying complexity of cashews and spice. Classic peach and stone fruits persist over a subtle edge of integrated oak complexity. A soft delicate entry, the rich, balanced and soft palate is brimming with stone fruit flavours, creamy textures and subtle integrated oak notes, carrying through to a soft, lingering finish.
