Harvests of Chardonnay are collated from some of the finest vineyards, to be vinified and assembled by the Four Sisters team into a refreshing young wine. Grapes displaying peach and melon characteristics form the backbone, while parcels offering vegetal and minerality add to the complexity, masterfully harmonized into a lively fruit driven Chardonnay wine, the perfect luncheon white.
Four Sisters enjoy a seat at the table around many a fashionable bistro, a truly quenching white, crafted from Chardonnay grown to the finest vineyards. By monitoring the fruit as it ripens on the vine, Four Sisters have selected the best grapes with good levels of natural sugar and refreshingly crisp acidity. Fruit is sourced from cooler climate central Victorian vineyards for a fresh and lean style of Chardonnay. Components are treated to fermenters aimed at retaining the natural citrus and peach characters, followed by a course of malolactic to soften the acid and the fruit. Four Sisters employs cutting edge viticulture and old world winemaking techniques in the production of this immensely popular label. Alcohol 13.5%
TASTING NOTES
Light golden straw hue. The nose shows an intense mixture of peach and melon, richly scented aromas of nectarine are complexed by whisps of butternut. Creamy textures and a fine acid balance develops into a soft and generous, mouthfilling palate of stonefruit and citrus flavours. Youthful in character, the finish is soft, lingering and exquisitely balanced, a food friendly wine to accompany the ultimate chicken caesar and your favourite faire.
