Bream Creek sits at the heart of a coastal community that's well known for it's artisans, overlooking the site where Abel Tasman first landed in 1642. Bream Creek excel at Sauvignon Blanc, having claimed multiple awards at conspicuous wine tasteoffs in Tasmania as well as prestigious accolades at national competitions. The classic and definitive Sauvignon Blanc style with aromas of citrus, gooseberry and hints of tropical fruit. A balanced wine offering a well structured, full flavoured and persistent palate, pleasant texture and refreshing finish.
A long line of Bream Creek's wines have been consistent medal and trophy winners on the Australian wine show circuit. The devoted team maintain quality of their splendid efforts through attention to detail in the vineyard and winery, remaining adaptable to the season and by capitalizing on favourable climatic conditions. For the Bream Creek team, it is critical to pick grapes purely on the basis of flavour, holding their nerve and awaiting the fruit to ripen fully for wines of exceptional quality. You can't enhance flavour in the winery, you have to get it right in the vineyard and in the picking. Fastidious crop management has been the keystone to Bream Creek's achievements in ultra fine Sauvignon Blanc.
TASTING NOTES
A pale straw yellow colour. The nose is beautifully defined, it couldn't be anything other than Tasmanian. Aromas of white cherry, limefruits and lemon, ripe melons and citrus blossom. The palate is medium dry with sweet, ripe white peach flavours, cut melon and floral characters. Such a highly engaging wine with generous array of aromas and fruit flavours, immensely pleasant and universally popular, a great choice for dining and entertaining.

More About Bream Creek Wines
Overlooking the breathtaking seascape of Marion Bay and Maria Island, Bream Creek is one of the first commercial vineyards planted in Tasmania
The original consortium in 1973 planted 5 hectare of vines consisting mainly of Riesling and Cabernet Sauvignon, with some Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Gewurztraminer. In August 1990, the vineyard was purchased by Fred Peacock - one of Tasmania’s leading viticulturalists. Fred’s priority was to increase Pinot Noir plantings and introduce Sauvignon Blanc and Schonburger (the first commercial plantings in the Southern Hemisphere.) The Riesling vines are now over 30 years old, some of the oldest commercial vines in Tasmania. With Fred’s dedication and passion, the vineyard is now a 7.5 hectare showcase of premium Tasmanian varieties. Bream Creek»
