More About Mount Pleasant Winery
McWilliam’s Mount Pleasant Estate nestled in the slopes of the Brokenback Range in the Hunter Valley was established in 1921 by legendary winemaker, Maurice O’Shea
The Griffith-based McWilliam family, already a famous Australian wine company, purchased a half share of the Estate and encouraged O’Shea to continue with his winemaking style and creations. McWilliam’s acquired the remaining share in 1941. It was with the McWilliam family’s financial backing O’Shea selected and purchased the Lovedale and Rosehill properties and planted them in 1946. O’Shea’s groundbreaking work has been kept alive by revered winemakers Brian Walsh and Phil Ryan. The fact that there have been just three Chief Winemakers at Mount Pleasant since 1921 has ensured consistency of wine style and quality.

More About Mount Horrocks Wines
Mount Horrocks Wines is operated by proprietor and winemaker Stephanie Toole, who restricts production to approximately 4,500 cases per annum to achieve her aims of quality and single vineyard expression
Mount Horrocks Wines was established in 1982, was acquired by Stephanie Toole in 1993, and in April 1998 opened a cellar door in the renovated Auburn Railway station, around the corner from Grosset, her husband’s winery, where she makes her wines. Stephanie carefully crafts her wines, which she describes as "essentially hand made food wines with emphasis on structure as well as generous fruit flavours" All grapes are hand picked, and only the finest French oak is used for those wines spending time in barrel.

The Langtons listed Fox Creek. Sparky remembered how much he liked drinking wine and stepped forward. About the Mocandunda Winery
Mocandunda is a Ngadjuri word meaning rocky outcrop on top of a hill
It’s on one such rocky hill that three men with Clare Valley dirt in their veins, established a vineyard that brings all their experience and local knowledge into a singular, crystal clear vision. Mocandunda was established 1998 by Hartley Heinrich, the property’s owner, Rodger Ackland, one of Clare’s most experienced viticulturalists and founder of Mt Horrocks Wines and Mick Faulkner, a leading South Australian agronomist. Rodger had long recognised the potential of the site and had been share farming the land with Hartley, with help from Mick, when all three men decide it was time to take this special place to the next level. And so Mocandunda Vineyards was born, a project with impeccable local pedigree and enormous potential.

More About Mike Press Winery
Mike Press Wines are located in the internationally acclaimed Adelaide Hills, setting the benchmark for quality wine at an outstanding price
With a string of awards, the secret to its success lies in a nurtured vineyard, more than four decades of experience, and a commitment to the consumer. Mike Press started his career with the best, working alongside Max Schubert at Penfolds before moving on to Seppelt and Krondorf. Mike Press was chief winemaker at Mildara Bass when they won the Jimmy Watson Trophy. He planted his Kenton Valley vineyard in 1998 to focus on growing quality grapes to on-sell. Boasting 85 acres of scenic beauty, Kenton Valley Vineyards, was chosen because of its cool climate, its altitude of 500 metres above sea level, and its rainfall, which is similar to Bordeaux in France. Initially the focus was on semi-retirement. Mike wanted to get in touch with the land by growing the best grapes possible and then on-selling at the end of vintage.
More About Metala Wines
The 1961 vintage of Metala was the first wine to win the Jimmy Watson Trophy at the Royal Melbourne Wine Show
Metala is therefore a great and superlative label, the very first of a long, and proud lineage. The history of the Metala vineyard dates back to 1891 when founder George Formby planted 21 rows of Shiraz and 14 rows of Cabernet Sauvignon on his property on the banks of the Bremer River. Most of those original vines along with a further five acres of Shiraz planted in 1894, still bear fruit with the Shiraz forming the backbone of the extraordinary Metala Original plantings. Internationally acclaimed, highly sought after and perennially emulated, Metala stands as a beacon amongst the great vineyards of the Langhorne Creek.

After much negotiation, Pastor August Kavel secured land in the Barossa Valley to congregate the migrants, and in 1842 the village of Langmeil was established.
More About Lane Vineyard Winery
On a grey morning in July 1941, Reginald William Germein and John Crighton Edwards joined the Royal Australian Airforce. They went to war to protect their beloved country and give their children the opportunity to live, work, play and fulfil their dreams
If old buildings could talk, the hay shed at Lane Vineyard would tell quite a story. It began its days long ago in quiet solitude, the only visitors were a handful of cows and the occasional farmer with his dog. John Edwards searched for two years to find land with the aspect and soils he wanted for his vineyard. When he walked through the old farmgate on Ravenswood Lane, he realised his dream, the land for growing extreme quality fruit for distinguished, complex, sought after wines. In 1993, Edwards established new vines around the hay shed on Ravenswood Lane. From the very first wines produced under the Ravenswood Lane label in 1996, John’s belief in the terroir was rewarded with exceptional wines.

About the Landhaus Winery
John, Barbara and Kane Jaunutis love of the Barossa with its wines, people & lifestyle developed over 30 years of visiting the region
In 2002 they set out to live the dream and passion and bought the Landhaus property with its Vineyard and Cottage built in 1842 by the first Barossa Settlers. It was a tough start as the vineyard was badly distressed and in need of a lot of T.L.C. So the decision was made to cut and drop the grapes from the 02 vintage, so the vines could shut down with happy memories. After a further 12 months work on the vineyards, the vines starting to respond and good bunches forming when disaster stuck, 2 weeks before the 03 vintage with a freak hailstorm and heavy rain which ruined the crop and once again we had to cut and drop the grapes.
