Karl Seppelt pioneered Henty for winegrowing when he established Drumborg Vineyard in 1964, with a view to realizing harvests of unparalleled quality and finesse. Swept by winds from the Southern Ocean, Drumborg's vines are stimulated into yielding parched grapes of the most remarkable character and intensity, making wines that are renowned for their long lived elegance. The choicest parcels of Chardonnay are treated to a luxurious barrel vinification, 100% oak fermented, followed by a year's maturation on gross lees. Alcohol 13.1%
