Elements of plums and liqueured blackberry, real lusciousness, curls of dense chocolate, nutella and sweet steamed pudding. There's a spicy distinctiveness, as this wine develops into an astonishingly rich balance of flavours and essences, a soft fruit driven palate with excellent length and soft supple tannins, great depth, and a complex yet elegant structure. A rich red, as harmonious as it is complex, full bodied and beautifully structured, a wine that was built for cellaring and bottle development.
